John Humphreys and Neil Kinnock


With 20 years experience in University senior management including 10 years as Pro Vice-Chancellor at the University of Greenwich, London, John Humphreys has extensive experience of university general management. His responsibilities in top management have ranged from research and enterprise through learning & teaching to academic planning and administration. He has worked closely with Chief Executives and Governors of large organisations on strategy, business development, institutional mergers and acquisitions, cost reduction, faculty review, IP commercialisation, quality assurance and a range of other matters.

In addition to his work in the UK he has worked in Asia, Australia, Africa and Eastern Europe. He also has experience of institutional governance and as Chairman and Chief Executive on the boards of companies, both commercial and registered charities. His books include Health Care Education: the Challenge of the Market published by Chapman Hall
